Obverse: Portrait of Louis XVIII

Sur l’avers de la pièce, on retrouve le portrait de Napoléon Ier lauré, tourné vers la droite, symbole de son autorité impériale. Autour de son buste, se grave en lettres majuscules l’inscription « NAPOLEON EMPEREUR ».

Revers : « 2 FRANCS » entouré une couronne de laurier

Le revers de la pièce arbore l’inscription « RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE », disposée en cercle autour du motif central. Au centre, l’indication de valeur « 2 FRANCS » est élégamment entourée d’une couronne de laurier, symbole de gloire et de victoire. Enfin, en bas de la pièce, le millésime 1807 ou 1808 est frappé, accompagné d’une lettre indiquant l’atelier de fabrication, permettant d’identifier son origine précise.
