La 2 Francs Cérès Sans Légende. Émise par le décret du 7 octobre 1870, cette monnaie de 2 Francs Cérès sans légende en argent a été produite exclusivement durant les années 1870 et 1871. Elle met en avant la figure de Cérès, divinité romaine associée à la fertilité et à l’agriculture.
En 1870, elle a été frappée à 238 750 exemplaires dans l’atelier monétaire de Paris. Cette version spécifique de la 2 Francs Cérès peut atteindre une valeur de 180 euros en état TTB (Très Très Bien).

Avers :
L’avers présente la tête de Cérès, déesse romaine de l’agriculture et de la fertilité, regardant vers la gauche. Elle est coiffée d’une couronne de blé, de chêne et de vigne. Contrairement aux autres versions de la série Cérès, cette pièce ne comporte aucune mention du régime en vigueur.
Revers :
Le revers affiche la valeur faciale « 2 FRANCS », entourée d’une couronne de laurier et de chêne, avec l’année d’émission et la marque d’atelier en bas.
