What is a Gold Lingotin?
Definition of Lingotin
Lingotins are gold and silver ingots weighing less than 500g or 250g, depending on their design.
They were introduced for savers and investors with smaller budgets. Investment ingots were indivisible and therefore too expensive. With the introduction of small bars, modest investors now have the opportunity to invest in precious metals.
Ingots are available in several formats: 1g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 1 ounce, 50g, 100g, 250g and 500g. They are recommended for bullion investments with limited budgets. However, even if they don't benefit from a premium like gold coins, they often cost much more, and opportunities for appreciation are more limited.
