La couronne suédoise est la monnaie de la Suède depuis 1873. Le code ISO de la monnaie de Suède est SEK et comme la couronne norvégienne ou la couronne danoise, la couronne suédoise a pour symbole officiel « kr » et est localement appelée « kroner ».
Jusqu’au 30 Septembre 2010, la couronne se divisait en 100 öres, mais la Suède les a démonétisé. Depuis, même s’il arrive que des öres sont affichés sur certains prix, les sommes sont arrondies à la couronne près.
