Peruvian currency: Peruvian Sol
Le sol péruvien est l’unité monétaire du Pérou qui a cours légal depuis 1991. Le Sol Péruvien est appelé « Nuevo sol » pour le différencier du sol ayant eu cours de 1931 à 1985. La monnaie du Pérou est identifiée par le symbole S/ et par son code ISO qui est PEN. La devise péruvienne est divisé en 100 centimes (céntimos). En espagnol, le mot sol a deux significations : « soleil » et « sou » (du solidus romain).
