The Bulgarian Lev, the Bulgarian currency

Le lev bulgare est l’unité monétaire de la Bulgarie depuis 1881. Son nom signifie « lion » en bulgare et il a été choisi à cause de son symbolisme national. Au singulier, la devise bulgare s’écrit « лев » en bulgare, au pluriel « levove » (pluriel dit normal lorsque le mot n’est pas précédé d’un numéral) ou leva (forme employée après les numéraux cardinaux).
