Le forint hongrois est la monnaie de la Hongrie depuis le 1er août 1946. Le forint est divisé en cent fillér, quoique les fillér ne soient plus en circulation depuis 1999. Forint est un mot hongrois qui pourrait être traduit par florin qui en est l’étymologie. Le code ISO de la monnaie hongroise est HUF, sur place on peut rencontrer l’abréviation Ft et s’appelle « florin ».
